Reaching all over the world
I am from South Africa ,, I am seventeen and I go through the same problems as probably alll teenagers do. The only difference is that Nick succesfully changed a group from my school of 40 people who just the next day raised over a thousand rand ( alot of money ) for a charity called reach for a dream. A task that wouldnt of been accomplished without the amazing inspiration that Nick gave us !!!

Dear Nick, My name is Derek Wireman. I was born with a disability titled Spina Bifida. At first i thought my life was going to shreds well i heard about your videos on youtube and i decided i would watch them see what you got and after watching them Nick you are my insperation on life and to never let go never doubt yourself God made us the way we are for a reason and we dont need people to make us feel needed or wanted we just need to know ourself that we are needed/wanted.

How you influenced me AND my school
Hi Nick...
You're probably not going to read this but I just wanted to tell you how much you have influenced my life. On the 31 July, 2009, our schools Life Orientation teacher played us your DVD... At the end you had just about every girl (and even some of the boys) crying. I really think and hope that you have changed their lives as much as you have changed mine. I've never really understood why people have rolemodels... Why follow in someone elses footsteps? But now I know. I think that besides Jesus you are the most amazing person ever to walk on this earth. I just wanted to say a massive thanks!

Atleast I had something to cut...
Hello, my name is Tiffany and I am 21 years old. A few years ago, I endured a long, and torturous journey of self harm. I was addicted to the "high" that I would get when I cut. It was to a point where I was hitting arteries, and tendons and was on the verge of death. I would do anything for that high, even if it meant killing myself in the process. I believed that I was worth nothing, except the pain, descrimination, and self disrespect that is involved when you cut. I believed I was worthless, and that I only deserved the self disrespectful lifestyle of cutting. It was who and what I was. That was over 2 years ago now, and I happy to report that I have 18 months and 2 weeks without cutting. However, recently, I have been plagued by the urges to start self harming, and so my counsellor told me about the story of nick. After researching nick, I cant help but feel selfish, ashamed, and embarrased about my story....

My friend introduced Nick's DVD "No arms No legs No worries" to me. I was very much inspired by what Nick said " You are beautiful just the way you are " I am touched everytime I watch Nick's DVD even though I have watched 4 times already. Light
I am a teacher in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. Living in the 3rd world country can be uncomfortable and difficult. I live in poverty, and I see starvation, AIDS, and abuse. Nick Vujicic & "1 Litre of Tears"
Nick- your story is truly a legend and a miracle. People used to say that you will know how lucky and fortunate you are when you see those poor children living in developing countries or those with physical disabilities. You will then know how good or how great you are. But, after watching your DVD, it indeed changed my perspective on life. I am not a pessimistic person, I am a quite optimistic person but obviously I will have ups and downs as well... That's just life. But, I cry so much after watching "1 Litre of Tears" produced in Japan, talking about how a girl having cerebellum problem starts to lose her co-ordination of her body movement and starts to become totally paralysed and cannot speak. This has indeed made people feel how lucky they are and how have they have in life.
However, you Nick- you, have really changed everything. I love one of the quotations in "1 Litre of Tears" - Disability is not unfortunate, it is just inconvenient. And, this has shown in your life. How you overcame so many hardships and pain in order to become as happy as you are now. Sometimes, we wonder whether people should end their life through euthanasia because they are mentally handicapped or paralysed or have other defects in the mind or body. But, the one who is really disabled is us. You are right, Nick. We seemed to be so indulged in temporary things and start to build our happiness on that. We rely so much on material possessions, drugs, sex and alcohol. But, love is all we need.

I am the C.E.O. of a big company. I have had the worst 18 months I thought anyone could endure. I have been embezzled, ended in jail for checks that bounced from my company, while in jail, no one would help me get out. I never gave up. Hey Nick, here is a quick smile for you (and me). My son Nate is 3 years old. We were away when you were speaking in our town, and we plan to watch your dvd this week. But over the last few days we have had a few brief conversations about you. This morning I heard a loud thump and crying and when I went to check what had happened I saw Nate had fallen off the stairs. He had his arms tucked inside his shirt, and the shirt pulled all the way down over his knees and legs so only his feet were showing. I asked him what he was doing and he said "I was trying to be like Nick. You know- the guy with no arms or legs?" Nate already thinks you are a superhero and we haven't even watched your dvd yet... I wonder what injuries we can expect next! Hehehe.
